I came in hardly being able to weight bear on my foot had to walk to X-ray in pain wasn’t offered a chair which caused me more pain to be told after X-ray just a sprain nothing g can do , when asked if any support could use just got told no , I am struggling so much with pain and pressure
The staff were rude we waited for over 9 hours with no pain relief the staff belittled the opinions of my child and made them feel inferior
The teams at both Bassetlaw and DRI were outstanding, professional and caring, they kept me alive.
Helpful, knowledgeable staff. No waiting.
Seems there wasn’t a lot of communication between staff, I understand they are busy, I was seen by a dr that then finished his shift and my information didn’t seem to be passed on. I had to ask 6 hrs later
The care I received was excellent. All the staff were a credit to the NHS.
The doctor was great and calmed our daughter down when examining her and waited until she’d calmed down
Couldn’t get a GP appointment, called same day healthcare, they said I needed to be seen within one hour. Went to A&E, arrived at 12.30 after 1half hrs told to go to urgent care, didn’t get seen till 4.30pm. Dr was lovely when I finally got to see her who diagnosed peri orbital cellulitis. Waiting for referral to eye clinic.
on my previous appointment the doctor said he was going to refer me to another department who could better deal with my problem? so to my surprise, in my lastest appointment with a different doctor he asked me who the other doctor had referred me to? because he didn't have a clue and there was nothing in my notes! so it was like starting from scratch, so then he has decided to send me for a mri scan.
Ive had problems since September 23 and ive been discharged once because he couldn't do anything and then nothing was done on previous appointment, so I'm don't have alot of faith in the service that I'm receiving.
The staff were very helpful and reassuring and made the whole experience a lot less daunting than I had expected it to be.
